Park at Cudmore Grove Country Park for toilets, tea shop, info point, picnic tables. To get there follow B1025 for 10m south of Colchester to Mersea Island,take left fork to East Mersea for 3m. Country Park is at the end of Broman's lane, follow brown tourist signs. Parking is £2 for the day. Easy access around park for bikes, pushchairs and mostly accessible by wheelchair. Walk to the cache is NOT wheelchair or buggy friendly.
Thor was the son of Odin and Fjorgyn. He was the God of thunder, sky, fertility and the Law. He has despatched his warriors, the Viking Ramblers, to place this cache for the enjoyment of Geocachers far and wide. Thor said let Geocaching be the Law!!
To find this cache, follow the seawall footpath passing over two wooden obstacles (you can take either the high path or the low path but beware, it you take the low path, you may miss the obstacles!) until you reach a metal obstacle. Count four wooden supports and you'll be close!
Original contents: Teddy bear keyring; yellow stretchy man; pirate mini playing card pack; green stoned toy ring; flashing heart pendant; and piece of lucky slate from Kessingland beach.
