A flash mob is a large
group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an
unusual action (15 minute wedding) for brief time, then quickly
disperse.
The Plan:
Participants will mill around the Reston Town Center (RTC) as if
they are casual shoppers then, at exactly noon, the bride and groom
will descend the fountain steps and meet in front of the
fountain.
Only at that point will the guests converge behind the bridal
party.
We will say our vows, there will be some crowd participation,
and then all will quickly disperse.
The reception will be immediately following at a very near-by
park pavilion.

What to bring:
- No gifts
- In order to log this cache you must bring HANDMADE wedding
cards only - be creative and personalize them. There will be an
attendant with a basket to collect them.
- There will be an orange SWAG bucket to collect
trackable/tradable items.
- While there is no need to dress up, the wedding colors are
orange and pink. If you have those colors wear them
- Coin to throw into the fountain (best wishes for the
couple)
- Yard games (large field available): balls, frisbee, poker
chips, some games/activities provided
- FOOD: Due to the nature of the flash mob, we have no idea how
many guests will be showing up. We are planning to feed 100 people
hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cake, and all things needed to eat such
items. While not necessary, a potluck item could be brought to
share. If you have other foods you would like to grill please bring
it with you.
- DRINKS: BYOBeverage. No glass please.
If you would like to bring a cooler with ice and drinks to share,
PLEASE do. We are not providing any alcohol for this event and
assume no responsibility or liability for any actions resulting
from guests’ consumption of alcohol at this event.
- Camp chairs (pavilion has tables but room for all may be an
issue).
- This is your opportunity to ride your
motorcycle!
FREE Parking:
- Parking MUST be in one of the parking garages. No drive bys!
