Geocache Description:

Caching ROCKS! While Shopping... DOESN'T. This the first in a series of traditional caches I'm creating that will be near a certain store chain that my wife LOVES to shop at.

Welcome to Leonia, NJ! A nice quiet town within the greater Bergen County. Ranked 31st "Best Places To Live" in New Jersey (by "New Jersey Monthly" magazine, 2008)

Container is a nano, colored to match it's surroundings. No need to break or disturb anything. Should be an easy grab.

My wife loves to find a good bargain. And when she finds a certain combination of discounts and coupons where the deal is almost free... she's in her groove! So, most times, while she's shopping, I'm looking for nearby caches (if there are any) or looking at places that would make good cache locations. And strangely enough, many times there isn't a cache nearby. So for those of us dragged to this particular store chain, we should now have a nice caching hunt while waiting out a shopping hunt. CACHING VS SHOPPING!!

If you have a few minutes to spend (after finding the cache)... There is a nice little sculpture garden right next to the GZ. The Erika and David Boyd Sculpture Garden - There are some works on loan that you can look at. It's sandwiched between the American Legion Post No. 1 and the Borough Hall Annex/Council Chambers/Municipal Court/Senior Citizen's Center/Women's Club of Leonia (whew!) so you know it's "happenin' spot".

NOTE: Please feel free to add on to this series with the title "Caching Vs Shopping" and the location (town and state). Just please try to keep them near this store chain location (within a block or so, in case the shopping hunt is shorter than the caching hunt).

* Series partially inspired by the "SPARE US" series, but mostly by the long stretches of time waiting for a shopping hunt to end.
