Jacob's Bridge
Atlantic Canada's very first WhereIGo Geocache!
To find this cache, you will have to partake in a mystery inspired
by two of my favorite television programs.
In order to find this cache, you will need to download and
install the WhereIGo cartridge from
this link. It can be run on a Garmin Oregon or Colorado and
PocketPC devices with a GPS. It also works on a Garmin Nuvi 550 car
GPS. See device notes below.
In this adventure, you will play the part of NBBI (New Brunswick
Bureau of Investigations) agent Mulber. Agent Mulber, and his
partner Agent Sulley, are investigating the disappearance of the
local sheriff. Apparently, the sheriff went missing near the Jones
Lake area and has not been seen for several days. You must travel
to the posted coordinates and coordinate your investigation with
the local police department who are already on the scene.
This adventure will take you through the Jones Lake area as well
as Centennial Park. Travel by foot is recommended but portions of
the adventure can be done by car.
The actual geocache container itself is a standard 50cal ammo
container with all the regular goodies.
Please note that the gates to Centennial Park close at 10pm so
if you do that portion at night, you'll have to park elsewhere.
Device Notes:This cartridge should work with
any Wherigo compatible player, INCLUDING Garmin Oregon devices.
This cartridge did have issues in the past but has been updated to
correct the Oregon lockups. It was tested and fully working on an
Oregon 550 as of June 9, 2010. The cartridge has also been played
successfully on a Nuvi 550, Blackberry device using OpenWIG, and a
Garmin Colorado.
If you try this cache and have failures with your hardware,
please send me an email and I'll provide you with an alternative
way to do this cache.
If you have any questions about this cache, or get stuck in the
middle of the story, do not hesitate to contact me. This is my
first Whereigo.
Good luck!
