Gorge yourselvs
 Needed to find "Earth"

This cache is part of the EARTH element in the series " 4 Elements of Paphos". The series consists of 15 caches divided into 8 regular ones leading to 4 element caches which in turn lead to 2 sub-caches. Once you have found the 2 sub-caches, you will know the coordinates for the "FINAL" cache.

To find the cache you don't have to penetrate very high up the gorge, but if possible, take some time to explore this extraordinary place.

The Avakas Gorge is truly the most magnificent site in the Paphos District. Walking into it feels like entering a cathedral, the stillness enhanced by the twitter of birds and the occasional rustle of pebbles dislodged by the semi-wild goats roaming the slopes, the majesty of the walls straining to reach each other high up in the air and at one point trapping an enormous boulder in their stony embrace, sunlight and shade playing hide and seek among the many turns of the winding track. Look around you and absorb the wonders of this place as you make your way through oleanders, junipers, wild carob trees and an abundance of wild flowers. If you're lucky you might see the tiny purple flower of Centauria Akamantis, an endemic plant found only on the the sides of the gorge. Look also at the concentric circles radiating out several meters on the sheer cliff face, geologists are still puzzling over its origin, and if you find yourself in the upper part of the gorge in autumn you may run into the thousands of butterflies that congregate there.

Below is a guide to how the caches connect.
