The cache is listed as day time only. You wont see any signs at
the trail head but the land for Maine's futures web site is very
clear. Go to this link for more
information,

You are looking for a Med size container, That "W" got at the
Yankee swap MGA Christmas event. Thank you to who ever made
it.
The terrain difficulty is based on the trail
with the steepest climb and for winter conditions.
Not all the land in this area is owned by the State of Maine.
Please see the attach image of a map to show the trails and
terrain.
Morgan Meadow is a wonderful place to snowshoe and ski in the
winter and hike in the summer.
Glover's wig (I'm not sure why it is called that) Is really a BIG
hill. With some cliffs and cools rocks. If you come off the main
trail onto the American crow trail you will climb 300 feet up in
elevation in ess than .2 miles. I broke a trail today on snowshoes.
(If you want to go that way)
There are other trails that go up to the top that are not as
steep.
N43 55.867 W70 24.191 Leave the trail in this general area will
offer a gradual climb although the trail is hard to follow in the
winter. I bushwacked out this way.
I think you can safely bring kids up here, if you use caution.
You know your kids better than I do. They can find the cache with
out going near the cliffs. If you do go near the cliffs, watch the
kids.
There is a parking area but it is not plowed
in the winter. people park up the road from the entrance in the
winter.
Please be aware that school buses and town plow trucks use the
spot up the road to turn around. During the week or when plow
trucks are out do not block this area.
There is a new "NO PARKING THIS SIDE OF STREET" sign in the winter
parking area. I have checked with the town and they don't mind if
you park there as long as it is not during time when the plow truck
would be out plowing or sanding.
This is a wildlife management area and
hunting is allowed. Wear two pieces of orange if you are here
between the start of October and the middle of
December.
