Signal Series #01 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

AddHam: We don't live in the area anymore and I haven't had much interest from anyone to adopt so I'm archiving the series. Thanks to all who searched and sorry to those that wanted to! It's been a fun run!

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Signal Series! This run of 42 micros consists of traditional and simple puzzle caches...all of which contain only a log so BRING YOUR OWN PEN!!

Now I've always wanted to write something in the land using geocaches so that, when viewed from the sky (or your GPS/Google Earth), it would send a message to all cachers. Well, that would take too many locations and writing something like my name would be a bit selfish. So instead, the idea hit to do something different. The result of which is a nod to our little friend here, SIGNAL THE FROG!!

With good preparation and a taste for the open countryside, you can hit all caches in one day. I was in a hurry to get these all placed, so for now they are all 1D1.5T's strung across the country roads just northwest of the Greater Lafayette Area. Most of which aren't even fully camoflauged. Over time, I'll change some around and maybe up the difficulty.

You'll get great signal (no pun intended!) out in the middle of the open but that also means you'll need to take extra care with stealthiness. These containers can be easily muggled. Well, until then, HAPPY CACHING!!
