KAG-Time To SPARE????

There is always time to spare between caching trips in the winter.

When we are all sick of digging in the snow for caches, wouldn't it be great to be able to spend an afternoon indoors, enjoying the time to be able talk geocaching, and not freeze our buns off.

This is your chance!!! On Saturday Feburary 28th, 2009 geocachers of all ages will be meeting at Prost Bowling Centre, to enjoy an afternoon of indoor activity.

We will meet and bowl two games (participation is optional, if you prefer just come and chat away with friends). We will be meeting around 1:00pm and begin bowling at 1:30pm. (Cachers are welcome to continue bowling, but must be off the lanes by 5:00 as there is a tournament)

As numbers are crucial, it is very important that with your will attend log you indicate the number of bowlers attending. Please also submit your team of 4-5 people by Febuary 18th at the very lastest, but the sooner the better. (I confirmed numbers with the alley, if you have will attended or somehow submitted your team to me by Feb 18th you have a lane reserved, I booked two extra lanes so if you would still like to submit a team please do so, I can always call and see if there are still more lanes open. If you show up on the event day without reserving your spot there may still be open lanes for you to bowl, but nothing will be guarenteed at that time.) If you do not wish to bowl please specify in your will attend. Also if you do not have a team, please state that in your log and I will put your name on the cache page, others that are looking for team members will know who is also looking!

This will be a very informal event, no prizes, no speeches, just a fun afternoon of spending time with great friends.

There is a canteen in the alley, as well as a dinning room for seating.
