Ceská Mincovna byla zalozena dne 1.7.1993 jako samostatna vyrobni divize tehdejsi Bizuterie a.s. v Jablonci nad Nisou a od roku 2005 je soucasti JABLONEX GROUP a.s.
CM vznikla po dohode a ve spolupraci s Ceskou narodni bankou, ktera po rozpadu federace hledala tuzemskeho vyrobce minci pro nove vzniklou Ceskou republiku. Behem 6 mesícu byla postavena novodoba Ceská Mincovna jako vyhradni dodavatel pro potreby centralni banky Ceské republiky.
CM razi od poloviny roku 1993 veskere obezne mince pro potreby Ceske republiky. V roce 1994 byla zahajena razba stribrnych pametních mincí v nominalni hodnote 200 Kc, v roce 1995 razba pametnich minci v nominálnich hodnotach 1000 Kc, 2500 Kc, 5000 Kc a 10000 Kc z ryziho zlata. Jednotlive nominaly vychazeji z hmotnosti odvozenych od troyske unce. Razby jsou provadeny v obou kvalitach, jak bezné (standard), tak spickové (proof). V roce 2001 zacala mincovna razit pro potreby Ceske narodni banky novou serii zlatych pametnich minci v nominalni hodnote 2000 Kc. Cela serie 10 minci je rozlozena do peti let, je inspirovana vyvojem architektury v Ceské republice a nese nazev "Deset stoleti architektury".
CM v soucasne dobe zamestnava 48 lidi. Jedna se o vyrobni divizi, ktera je vybavena modernimi lisy znacky Gräbener, jak pro vyrobu obeziva, tak pro pametni razby z drahych i obecnych kovu. Rocni kapacita mincovny je dimenzovana na 500 mil. kusu obeznych minci a 300 tis. kusu pametnich minci. Mincovna je zcela sobestacna ve vyrobe razidel i v uziti chemickych povrchovych uprav. Polotovary pro vyrobu obeziva i pro pametni razby jsou nakupovany v zahranici u renomovanych vyrobcu, nebot tuzemska vyroba neexistuje.

The Czech Mint was established on 1st July 1993 as an independent manufacturing division of Bizuterie a.s. Jablonec nad Nisou. From 2005 is a part of JABLONEX GROUP a.s.
Within 6 months, the Czech Mint was built as the exclusive supplier for the requirements of the central bank of the Czech Republic. The Czech Mint is a part of the Bižuterie Ceska Mincovna a.s. joint stock company, which has used this trading name since 1996.
The Czech Mint has thus minted all the currency coins for the Czech Republic since 1993. In 1994, the mint began to manufacture silver commemorative coins at a nominal value of 200 CZK and in 1995 it started mintage of gold commemorative coins at a nominal value of 1000 CZK, 2500 CZK, 5000 CZK and 10000 CZK.
The Czech Mint currently employs 48 people. It is a production division, which is equipped with modern Gräbener presses for the mintage of circulation coins as well as for commemorative coins and medals made of precious and common metals. The mint´s annual capacity has been designed to be 500 million circulation coins and 300 thousand commemorative coins. The mint is completely self-sufficient with regard to the manufacture of coining dies, tools and in the use of chemical surface finishes. The semi-products for the production of the circulation coins and for the commemorative coins and medals are purchased abroad from renowned suppliers, as no such domestic production exists.

Jak jiz je patrne z vyse uvedene charakteristiky, kes je tematicka a vztahuje se k Mincovne jako takove. Necekejte tedy zadna panoramata ci nejake architektonicke skvosty. Za zminku snad stoji prilehla prehrada, kde je v letnich mesicich spousta moznosti k relaxaci, zabave, nebo ke sportu. Schranku jsem do zacatku vybavil nekolika ruznymi mincemi, a medailemi. Pokud by jste nejake predmety menili, vkladejte prosim veci podobneho charakteru. At uz to jsou mince platne, neplatne, pametni, cizi ci jakekoli. Travelbugy a geocoiny, jsou samozrejme vitany.
Jestli stojite na vychozich souradnicich a mate pred sebou jeden ze vstupu do objektu byvale Bizuterie, stojite spravne. Tudy kdysi proudili stovky zamestnancu, dnes uz to tak horke neni. Nicmene, prave timto vchodem vstupuji pracovnici Ceske Mincovny do zamestnani. Budova samotne mincovny sice videt neni, ani neni nijak oznacen vchod, ci jina reklama, ale verte, je skutecne tam.
Co bude vasim ukolem?
Nejprve spocitejte venkovni schody pred vami, ktere vedou ke vstupnim prosklenym dverim.(pocita se zvednuti nohy) To je cislo "A"
Dale je v blizkosti vstupu modra tabulka s ctyrmistnym popisnym cislem. Vemte vsechny cislice z tohoto cisla a sectete je. Od ziskaneho vysledku odectete soucet sudych cislic z teto tabulky. Vysledek je vase cislo "B"
Nu a posledni veci, kterou potrebujete znat, je pocet ocelovych sloupu, ktere podpiraji pristresek nad schodistem. Vase cislo "C"
Tot vse, ted uz staci dosadit do vzorce a upalovat pro finalku.

EDIT 26.8.2009 : Jelikoz se cas od casu objevi log, kde si nekdo stezuje na bordel v okoli kese, ujistuji vas, ze pri odlovu teto pixly se rozhodne neuspinite ani zdaleka tak, jako pri kterkoli jine zahrabane v hline, ci zabalene v ruznych promocenych igelitech a pod. Neni treba nic rozhrabavat, odklapet, proste staci sahnout na spravnem miste a muzete logovat s cistyma rukama.
Pri odlovu budte ostraziti, v urcitou dobu tu muze byt docela rusno. Snazte se vratit pixlu presne tam, kde jste ji nasli. (pokud ovsem, nedej boze, nebude nekde pohozena, nebo tak neco) Diky.

The cache is thematic and relate to the Mint in itself so don't expect any panorama or architectual gems. Neighbouring reservoir is noteworthy, there is a lot of opportunities for relaxation, entertainment or sport in the summer. I have equip the box with some few various coins and medals for a start, so if you would change any item I kindly beg you to put in the items of similar character [on matter if the coins are valid or not, memorial, outland or whatever]. Travelbugs and geocoins are welcome indeed.
