Geocache Description:

'Rough Diamond' is a series of 4 caches, plus a special 'Jewel' bonus, placed on a lovely circular walk in North Essex. There are several possible starting points for this series, but I recommend starting in Greenstead Green. Why 'Rough Diamond'? When you've completed the series, take a look at the trail on your GPS!

The fourth cache in this series is situated on a public footpath near the tiny village of Burtons Green. You are looking for a small plastic click-lock container with room for small trades, coins and TBs.
Inside this cache you will find part of the information needed to find the 'Jewel' bonus cache.

If you are doing the whole series, I suggest you park in the village of Greenstead Green and join the footpath at: N 51 55.124; E 0 38.899

I have completely replaced this series today. All new containers, freshly stocked and with new log books.

Please be careful as some parts of this walk can get very overgrown with nettles and brambles in the summer.
