This is a mystery cache based on the Mandali puzzle (Mandali is Sanskrit for circle, connection or community – click here for more information), for which special thanks must go to Adrian Fisher who kindly gave permission to use the puzzle idea, and who prepares the weekly puzzle in a well known TV listings magazine.
The puzzles (the first is for the latitude, the second is for the longitude) are solved as follows:
1. Plot a path from A to G, visiting each yellow circle and passing through two, and only two, toll points:
2. Number each yellow circle as you get to it – A to G.
3. In the boxes below, write down the numbers reading clockwise from A.
4. Crack each code to reveal the latitude and longitude respectively.
5. Each coordinate will take the form ABº CD.EFG, for example. The exact order will be revealed when each puzzle is solved.
Latitude
Latitude code: A=5, B=5, C=0, D=3, E=6, F=9, G=0
Longitude
Longitude code: A=0, B=8, C=2, D=3, E=0, F=2, G=0
