Geocache Description:

The nearby memorial to a neighborhood soldier was built by his father this summer. He comes out each day to maintain the area. Please enjoy the cache, salute the soldier and his father.

This is another simple hide in the Rattan Creek Stroll series. You are looking for a Bison Tube. The hiding place should be obvious to Geocachers. The greatest difficulty will be the other users of the trail and park. Use stealth!

The park is owned and operated by the North Austin MUD #1 for the surrounding neighborhood. STRICT curfews, 10PM-6AM, are enforced with off duty Williamson County Deputies patrolling after hours.THIS IS NOT A NIGHT CACHE. A stipulation of the placement was that cachers not be on the trail near the neighbors homes at night. Please respect this request.

Parking at the suggested lot will result in a one-mile round-trip. Other entrances to the park can be found but require parking on neighborhood streets. Be considerate. We walk the trail with the dogs almost daily so; if you see someone watching, wave. Cache on, Blizzard
