Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in a series called "Haunted Lubbock" modeled after the Haunted Amarillo series. These caches are placed at supposedly "haunted" places in the Lubbock area. Want some creepy night caches? Try these.

Established in 1892, the Lubbock Cemetery is said to be one of the largest burial sites in Texas with more than 60,000 graves. Paranormal researchers with the T.P.R.S. refer to the Lubbock Cemetery as "very" haunted. The Lubbock Cemetery is home to numerous shadow people, orbs and the most well-known apparition - the glowing man, described as a human torch-type of figure who wanders the graveyard.

The gates of the cemetery close at sundown and it is in a questionable part of town.

DO NOT GO AFTER THIS CACHE AT NIGHT!

This is an easy park and grab, but please be respectful.

Also be sure to stop by the grave of Buddy Holly while you're here.
