Another in my "club" series, after Join the Club, I Want to Join the Club, Too, Qui Voudrez Adhérez au Club, X-Men Have a Club of Their Own, and You Want to Join the Club??. This one is an ammo can.
The cache is not at the posted location. The posted location is irrelevant to the cache, except that it is the location of a local club, and you will need to add some of the below offsets to this location in order to find the final.
Your mission is to join the club. Once you have joined the club, you will know how to find this cache. Based on the offsets below, you will be able to go from the posted coords to the final coords.
I expect this cache to be the most difficult of the series. Like the others in the series, I will add some more example club members from time to time to help set the difficulty just right.
Use this list of club members/non-members to deduce who qualifies for the club. Then, apply to the posted coordinates all of the offsets below that are shown for club members. This gives you the final location. Happy Hunting!
Update 4 May 2009: Well, this one has turned out to be quite difficult. In light of this, let me add an important further hint. What do all of the club members have in common, that the non-members lack? The club members all have the letter "Z." Now, you just have to figure out how that can possibly be.
Another Update: The Zilli Cafe Brighton has unfortunately closed since I placed this cache, so the link above is now permanently broken. Instead of the panini with artichokes, you might instead like to try the salad of tuna and artichokes. Here is the recipe.
And now, another update: It looks like the panini with artichokes recipe is gone now, too. Perhaps you would like to try griddled pizza with tomatoes, basil, and artichokes? And sadly, I had to use a small container instead of an ammo can.
Update 4 November 2023: I replaced the cache with a micro. Starting from the west, the cache is at the first landing, on the North side. You can reach it without going over the rail, but it will be difficult to see. You can proceed farther along and look back, that might help you spot the cache.
NOTE: I placed an ammo can at this location. I'm not convinced this location can support an ammo can without muggles stumbling upon it. PLEASE re-hide the container well.
