Geocache Description:

So you fancy a secret date cache? This is an easy straightforward mystery that involves discovering the embedded secret date, and then going on a nice little circular walk, or if your lucky enough to have a mapping gadget, then this can be done as a cache and dash.

The above coordinates will take you to the starting point, There is usually on-road parking available close by.
NOW THIS BITS IMPORTANT:-
>>There is a SECRET DATE embedded in the flint stone wall OVER THE ROAD . THE BEST SPOT TO SEE THIS FROM, IS THE STATED COORDINATES.(Which should place you on a footpath in front of a white fence.) You will not be able to spot it so easily from close up or from angles , You may spot it straight away or it may take some time to present itself. Just study the original section of the wall, not the restored section. The last number is ambiguous so for this reason YOU ONLY NEED THE FIRST 3 NUMBERS.The first three numbers are A, B & C
The final coordinates for the cache are:-
N 51.53. (B - C) +1, C , A + 8
E 000.46. C + 1 , A + 1, B - 2

Once you have the numbers you can go straight over the cross roads (taking care, as the view of the road is somewhat restricted) and after 700ft take the footpath to your left. Your GPSr should help you do the rest!, OR if you have mapping information to hand, it will be seen that this cache can be accessed from a number of footpaths and you can cut down the walking time. (for me the farmland walks are the best bit about caching!) It is really a good idea, either to take a map with you showing routes of the footpaths, or a mapping gadget, as the footpath is just a field in places, but in other places, it is well defined. After finding the cache you can either back-track on yourself, or carry on following the footpath round to the road which will bring you back to your starting point. I would recommend walking boots or wellies for this walk.
I think it would be a bit of fun if you could take a picture of yourself with your 'date cache' in a manner that is appropriate to the title. I have provided a picture to start you off, have fun!.
The cache is a regular plastic container that has all the usual goodies.
