Lovers Point has been a favorite destination since Pacific Grove was founded over 100 years ago. Tourists in the early 1900's arrived at the nearby train station to picnic, bathe in the calm cove, rent bicycles and ride in the Swan glass bottom boat. A Japanese tea house once stood on the point as well as the original Hopkins Marine Station.
Today Lovers Point is a popular destination for photography, picnicking, weddings, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, wading, tide pooling (collecting is NOT allowed) and rock scrambling. You can rent a bike, a standup paddle board or kayak, have a game of volleyball, grab a snack or a cache! The ground squirrels are plentiful, feeding them is also not allowed.
This cache is in a high traffic area, yet out of sight of muggle eyes.
