This cache is placed in honour of my Geocaching nemises The 38Gardener on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Surprisingly spritely for an old fella.
The cache is a regular ammo tin hidden in a hessian sandbag on Pyrford Common. This is a lovely area for a walk and is a mix of woodland and open field. I grew up in the area and have spent many a happy hour walking dogs here.
I felt that it was about time that the area had a cache and as the birthday boy lives nearby, it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
