This cache is located as typical citycache in crowded and well secured place (due to neighbors), so please be careful and prudent and use your hands only when you have some good idea to check out. Also i may suggest to use a daylight. Please don't leave anything, bring your own pen and be discreet when logging.
This cache is dedicated to admiral Johan Pitka, who was a famous Estonian military commander during the Estonian War of Independence. He was also founder and first commander of Defence League (estonian:Kaitseliit). The Defence League is a voluntary military national defence organization, which aim is to guarantee the preservation of the independence and sovereignty of Estonian Republic, the integrity of its land area and its constitutional order.
The Defence League possesses arms and engages in military exercises, fulfilling the tasks given to it by the law. The organization is divided into 15 Defence League regional units called “malev”, whose areas of responsibility mostly coincide with the borders of Estonian counties. By the way, the building next to cache, is HQ of Defence League.
