Geocache Description:

I have left the original instructions, now enclosed in [ ], in honor of Mel, the original owner. New info is at the end. You are looking for a small camo-painted almond jar. The entire container, swag, and log have once again been replaced.

[Park across the street at West Side Park. Cross the street and enter the Main trail head of Hogtown Creek. Go straight and walk up onto the boardwalk. Once the boardwalk ends the creek will be on your left and you will see a bench nearby. You will now be within 80' of the cache. Forgot to put a pen inside so BYOP. get a permit from the parks and recreation to place one in the hog creek area.

**UPDATE**- 2/10/09 moved this cache so that you do not need to leave the main trail to find. It is stil lying next to the same log it was before.

11/06/09 - replaced container with a new log and new swag. good as new.

1-15-10 - added spoiler pictures

11-06-10 - replaced entire cache, updated the clue.

02-02-11 - changed hint

2-25-11 - found the other two nearby caches to this one.

10/23/11 - replaced entire container, new log and new swag. good to go. One of them has a concrete block strung to a plastic container. This is a non approved cache which is too close in proximity to this one. You must also get an official permit from the department of parks and recreation to plant any caches in any parts of the Hog Town Creek area. The other cache appears to be an old letter box cache which is also not officially registered or approved by parks and recreation. It appears it has been there for some time. I am posting pictures of the real cache and the other two caches nearby.]

New CO Update:  2013 - You can park at the Loblolly Park lot off of N.W. 34th St. It is a short, pleasant walk. The problem with using organic landmarks in places like Florida is that they rot away, and, after 8 years, the logs are completely gone. I suspect that in some removal of invasives, the container was spotted and removed by someone who was not familiar with geocaching. The new container is at the same coords, but now at the "corner of Vine and Tree", still on the ground.
