Chocs Away - WOT 4 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

magwai: Sorry to the last 2 visitors - I was at GZ around 2pm this afternoon to collect it [:(]

As I'm no longer associated with the flying club (although number 1 son is) and have moved further away I have decided to archive it

If the last 2 visitors today wish to they may claim this as a find as they were not to know what my plans were

Thank you to everyone who visited since 2008

Geocache Description:

By request, my third cache is situated in the heart of Kingstanding (not!) - All of my caches do however have a theme - This cache is dedicated to widows and widowers of all hobbies everywhere

This cache site has been chosen to celebrate my own potential widowhood back in 1981 - The saying goes "If you can't beat 'em, beat 'em up". And so I learned to fly model aircraft.

The location is next to Marston Green Model Engineering Club, flying club site - We can usually be found there most days, weather and wind permitting. Give us a wave - If you are tall enough you might be useful for getting planes out of trees!

The public footpath is managed by DEFRA under the National England Conservation Walks programme. Parking is available on the grass verge as the gate ( even when unlocked), is for the sole use of the Flying Club. There are maps and indicators clearly marking the footpaths which can take you for a lovely stroll along the River Cole, or on to Coleshill.

Please bring with you your wellies - the paths can get quite muddy as they are on the edges of farmland.

The cache itself is a small lock 'n lock box containing log book, pencil sharpener, FTF Badge, the usual goodies young Geocachers like so much and "1 Little Duck" TB - See how far over the hills he goes. Please leave the pencil and sharpener - for obvious reasons
