Another great community park near Port Matilda that is tucked back into the town. Most people pass on by without even noticing this friendly little park.
This park draws in lots of attention early in the fishing season as anglers try their skills in the creek that borders the park. Also many local little league and t-ball teams play here during baseball season.
As I-99 reaches completion the fate of this small town is unknown, will the easy access to Altoona and State College cause this community to grow and flourish, or will it draw away the local businesses that thrive on the traffic along old 220.

Please use the parking lot at the park, do not park along old 220! Parking is available at many places in town or at the park itself.
Spring Update - The parking area is open again. Spring is here and that means baseball and softball season is also here. Expect more muggles in the area soon with the additional use of the ball field in the park.
REMINDER - The park is CLOSED at dusk. I was just informed that the STATE POLICE will be increasing patrols in the area of the park. There have been reports of people in the park at night. I do not know if they are cachers or just local hooligans, but the police will ticket or arrest ANYONE on the property after dark. DO NOT RISK IT! Only attempt during daylight hours.
Update 5/25/10 A new container was placed after the flooding this past winter. The new container is a large ammo can. Please make sure to replace it just as you found it.
