Geocache Description:

This series (mostly magnetic nanos) takes you around the outside of the park to each of the park's 11 historic gates.

All the caches are outside the park boundary and all are accessible 24 hours a day even if the park is shut. The numbering in the series takes you around the park in a widdershins direction ending up back at the north side.

Coming back to the park, you now head along the path towards the Maze Hill Gate. As you walk there are some Roman remains a short walk to your west. These are a Roman-Celtic temple dating from around 100AD.

Coming out of the Maze Hill Gate you can enjoy the wonderful Vanbrugh Castle just across the road to the east. Vanbrugh Castle is a ‘Gothick’ folly in the style of a fortress and was build around 1720 by Sir John Vanbrugh.

You’re looking for a magnetic nano and you’ll need to cross that road to find it.

Loggers are encouraged to post a photo of themselves with the cache whenever they can. :)

You'll need to bring something to sign the log with. If you do sign, please use as little space as possible. You might also need something to get the log out of the nano.
