Completed in 2008, the Glenloch Interchange upgrade formed part of the $120million Gungahlin Drive Extension. There were many delays, cost blowouts, and protests! But – it’s here now, and no matter what your views, the new Glenloch Interchange is an impressive piece of engineering! (Just don’t ask me why the bridges are all different?) And there’s no better spot to take it all in, than at GZ!
This cache is at the heart of Canberra’s largest interchange! However, you do not need to cross a single road to get to GZ! GZ can be easily and safely be accessed from the bike path nearby! So, just repeating – DO NOT CROSS ANY ROADS TO GET TO GZ! Furthermore – do not attempt to park your car on the freeway near GZ, as it is dangerous, and you will not be able to access the cache anyway! – Happy hunting, and enjoy the impressive interchange!
