Cesty a cesticky série jsem mnohokrát prošel s našim voríškem Míšou bohužel v dobe, kdy tu ješte geocaching nebyl. Byl by to jiste vynikajici geopes. Série vznikla k jeho památce. Cím jsme byli s Míšou starší a unavenejší, tím spíš jsme úvodní cást vycházky absolvovali autem, na vhodném miste zaparkovali a dál šli pešky. Urcite vám to neco pripomíná. Jednotlivé trasy nejsou delší než 2 km. Klidne si ješte jako Míša 100m pridejte, budte zvedaví kam ta cesta vede. Pri lovu používejte jen bežných komunikací. Nevstupujte na soukromé pozemky.
I walked along the roads and paths of this series many times with our mongrel Míša, however there wasn´t geocaching here at that time. I´m sure he would be a perfect geodog. The series came into being to his memory. The older and more tired Míša and I were, the more likely we went the first part of the walk by car, we parked at a suitable place and continued on foot. It must remind you of something. The particular paths aren´t longer than 2 km. Be like Míša and add another 100 m, be curious where the road leads. During the hunt use only common ways. Do not enter private properties.

Prostor ve kterém ted stojíte, byla v minulosti turnovská kasárna. Dole pod ulicí Dolní kasárna, kde je po renovaci III.ZŠ, kino a obytné domy. A zde Horní kasárna, která nyní slouží jako strední odborná škola Obchodní akademie a Hotelová škola. Dále jsou zde penziony a obytné domy. Takhle by mela vypadat všechna kasárna na svete!
Pokud jste zaparkovali na parkovišti turnovské strední OAHS a III.ZŠ máte pred sebou penziony našich starších spoluobcanu. Na výchozím míste cache nehledejte. Císlo A je pocet podlaží penzionu. Dosadte jej do rovnic :
The area you are standing in now used to be barracks. Down the street the Down Barracks were restored and now there is a school III. ZŠ, a cinema and residential houses. And the Upper Barracks are now serving as a secondary school Commercial Academy and Hotel School. Next there are boarding houses and residential houses. All barracks in the world should look like that!
If you parked at the school car park of OAHS and III.ZŠ, there are boarding houses for retired people in front of you. Do not look for a cache at the starting point. Number A is the number of floors in the boarding house. Install it into the formula:
R = A + 2
S = R – A – 1
X = R – A + 3
Y = S – 1

Delostrelci meli vždy v oblibe návrší a zejména návrší nad mestem pro snadnost zamerení cíle. Pro kacery je tu príležitost k rozhlédnutí, urcení veží a dalších objektu ve meste i na vzdáleném horizontu.
Cannoneers always liked hills and especially hills above cities for an easy focusing on the objective. For cachers (???) there is an opportunity to look around, mark out the towers and other objects in the town and in the far horizon.
