Balade de 5 km permettant la découverte des vestiges d’un
site gaulois du IIIe siècle a/j.
5 km walk to the discovery of the remains of a Gallic site of the
third century B/C.
La Provence est riche en vestiges antiques et celui de
Roquepertuse, à Velaux, offre un panorama sur la vallée de

Garez votre voiture en PKG et allez jusqu’au sanctuaire ROQ.
Ce site archéologique a été aménagé récemment et plusieurs panneaux
pédagogiques vous exposent l’interprétation des historiens.
Sur le premier panneau (voir photo roquepertuse.jpg) vous trouverez
le nom donné au peuple celto-ligure qui vivait en Provence.
Attribuez un chiffre à chaque lettre du nom en commençant par 1,
puis décodez la position de la cache :

Vous avez trouvé ? Alors allons y ! Mais avant de quitter les
lieux, inspirez vous du spoiler qui vous confirmera la
position.
Une multitude de chemins et sentiers sur la carte au 1/25000
semblent mener à la cache, mais ne vous y fier pas car la plupart
aboutissent à des propriétés. Donc je vous conseille de suivre les
waypoints suivants :
Partez de ROQ et joignez PT1, PT2 et PT3. Ensuite, à vous de
jouer.
La cache est une boite en plastique étanche cachée sous quelques
pierres, mais elles sont nombreuses…
Elle contient :
- un logbook et crayon
– Un travel bug « Aix en Provence »
- une bougie-parfum
– un camion de pompier
– un pingouin
– une bague fillette

Park your car at PKG and go until sanctuary ROQ. The archaeological
site was recently fitted and several educational panels expose you
the interpretation of historians. On the first panel (see photo
roquepertuse.jpg) you find the name given to Celto-Ligurian people
who lived in Provence.
Assign a number to each letter name beginning with 1, and then
decode the position of the cache:

You found? So let's do it! But before leaving, you inhale the
spoiler that will confirm the position.
A multitude of paths and trails on the map 1 / 25000 seem to lead
to the cache, but do not be proud because most result in
properties. So I advise you to follow waypoints following:
Leave ROQ and follow PT1, PT2 and PT3. Then you play.
The cache is a waterproof plastic box hidden under some stones, but
there are many ...

- A fire engine
- A penguin
