Geocache Description:

Located near St Michaels & All Angels church and also Copford Hall, lovely area and parking. This is the 7th of 8 placed today with the startrek theme.

Torias Dax (played by Alexander Siddig during Jadzia Dax's zhian'tara) was the fifth host of the Dax symbiont. Torias was married to another joined Trill, Nilani Kahn. (DS9: "Rejoined")

Torias fought in many battles. (DS9: "The Siege of AR-558")

Before he had been joined for a full year, Torias was killed in a shuttlecraft accident in 2285. According to the records of the Trill Symbiosis Commission, he remained comatose for six months before he died. In fact, the symbiont had already been transferred to a new host, Joran Belar. (DS9: "Equilibrium", "Afterimage")

Torias had something of a carefree attitude about life, considering it to be "too short to deprive [oneself] of the simple pleasures". He considered himself extremely lucky to have been chosen to be joined - and that his memories would live on beyond his death, in Dax. (DS9: "Facets")
