Nice little hike along the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail
Just in time for the fall colors
The Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is a 70 mile trail and has many starting points along its course. You may chose to park at any one of these areas and make your hike as long or short as you like. The 2.5 mile road in to the listed parking coords is a litttle rough in spots, my civic made it once without any problems, but my truck was a better ride and winter maintenance is slim to none. I think the view from here is rather nice, and camera worthy, but your mileage may vary. This cache is in the Pa. State Gamelands #111, and as so all thier rules and regs apply. Hunting season is open. As always remember the woods will stab, stick, bite, and make you itch, so be wary. If you venture out onto the rocks, use caution and hang on to your little ones. As always be safe, and kind to your enviroment. This is not hidden so as not to be found but please rehide well so it doesn't get muggled. The cache is within 20 feet of the trail. Round trip hike is less than .5 miles.
