This is a strenuous mountain hike with beautiful views of the ocean and the Ko’olau mountains.
I’ve been meaning to place a cache here for a while. I was reading though my old logs and the last time I was out there was in May, I can’t believe it was that long ago. I enlisted the aid of ten Muggles from work who wanted to go hiking. Nine of them made it to peak one (with a little coaching), Five of them made it to peak two with me and four made it to peak three. We had to leave one pour soul down in the saddle between peaks two and three by himself but he didn’t mind to much. All in all it was a fun day that everyone enjoyed. When we got to peak one there was lots of cloud cover but we waited it out and all at once it just dissipated and we were off. Heading out this morning I grabbed my trusty hiking book and realized that Ahiki was on the cover, I had never noticed that before; if it's on the cover you know it can't be half bad. We had the trail all to ourselves today and had a blast. Enjoy yourselves but please be careful, the trail can be very treacherous especially it it’s wet out.
Sorry, the only FTF prize is bragging rights.
