Neulich auf dem Flugplatz in Neuburg.
Phlyer: „Twr, Cessna 123 ready for takeoff.“
Twr: “Roger, Cessna 123 you are cleared for takeoff, wind 351 with
10.”

In der Luft ging ich meine Inflight-Checks durch. Alles im grünen
Bereich.
TAS = 100 kts Alt = 1000 ft Öldruck und Tankanzeige O.K. Bei der
Überprüfung des Windes war ich über die Genauigkeit der Vorhersage
erstaunt, denn nur die Geschwindigkeit weichte um +0,45 Knoten ab.
Ich flog nun bei herrlichem Wetter die geplante Route ab. Sie
führte zuerst nach Ehekirchen und alles verlief ruhig. Anschließend
überflog ich Wächtering und danach steuerte ich nach Leidling zu
meinem letzten Waypoint. Von dort ging es direkt zurück nach
Neuburg.
Für die Strecke hatte ich folgende Kurse berechnet:
Strecke 1: TC = 270° (Vom Start zum 1.Waypoint)
Strecke 2: TC = 215°
Strecke 3: TC = 270°
Strecke 4: TC = 044°
Strecke 5: TC = 082° (Vom letzten TP in die Nähe des Flugplatzes)
Über Leidling überprüfte ich noch einmal meine Position und
verglich sie mit dem GPS. Das GPS zeigte exakt N48 41.702 E011
04.608 was in etwa die Mitte des Ortes ist. Ich war also noch
richtig und vor allem exakt auf meiner geplanten Route.
Auf dem letzten Teilstück unterwegs ruckelte es auf einmal im
Flugzeug. Durch die Erschütterung fiel mir glatt eine Dose aus dem
Cockpit (sie viel senkrecht nach unten!!!!). Vor lauter Schreck
konnte ich gerade noch die Entfernung vom letzten Punkt festhalten.
Das Navi zeigte 2,05 NM.
So flog ich also weiter nach Neuburg und landete.
Nun bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig als zu der von mir berechneten
Stelle zu gehen, um die Dose wieder zu bergen. Könnt ihr mir dabei
helfen? Als die Dose fiel hab ich ziemlich viel Wald gesehen und
deshalb nehme ich mal lieber ein langes Seil mit.

In the air I was running thru my checklist. All in the green. TAS =
100kts Alt = 1000ft. Oilpressure and fuel O.K. Checking the wind I
was very pleased about the precise forecast, except the windspeed
varied by + 0,45 kts.
I continued my planned routing in perfect weather conditions. My
routing took me first to Ehekirchen and everything was still quiet.
Afterwards I flew to Wächtering (wherever that is ???): My last
waypoint was Leidling. From there direct back to Neuburg
aerodrome.
I had calculated the following courses for my routing:
Leg 1: TC = 270°
Leg 2: TC = 215°
Leg 3: TC = 270°
Leg 4: TC = 044°
Leg 5: TC = 082° (This is the final course to the vicinity of
Neuburg airfield)
Passing overhead Leidling I checked again my position and I
compared it with the GPS. This showed me exact N 48°41.702 E
011°04.608 which is almost the center of that small village. So I
was still on track.
Now on my last leg I had some small problems with the aircraft. It
was a little bit turbulent and so I lost my box somewhere over the
forest (it felt straight down!!!!). The only thing I could do in
that situation was checking quick the distance. It showed me 2.05
NM from my last known position.
I continued my flight and landed afterwards in Neuburg.
Now I have to go there to get my box. Can you help me to get it?
Because of that prior mentioned forest I´d rather take a long rope
with me. The hint is telling you to look at the headline.
