Dolní Novomlýnská nádrž je jedna ze trí prehradních
nádrží na rece Dyji pod Pálavou. Soustava vznikla k zamezení
každorocne se opakujících záplav. Dnes slouží k rekreaci,
provozování vodních sportu, rybolovu, závlahám a výrobe elektriny.
Strední nádrž (Vestonická) je vyhlášena prírodní
rezervací s umelými ostruvky pro hnízdení ptáku, na jednom zachován
románsko gotický kostel sv. Linharta, který je jediným pozustatkem
zatopené vsi Mušov. Horní nádrž (Mušovská)
slouží pro závlahy a rekreaci.

The lower Novomlynska is one of water-reservoirs on the
Dyje–river under Palava. The complex should protect
surroundings before yearly floods. The upper reservoir serves as a
place for recreation, water sports, fishing, irrigation and
electricity production. The middle one (Vestonická) is natural
reservation with artificial islands for bird’s nesting. On
one of those the Roman- Gothic church of St. Linhart has survive as
a memory of the village Musov. The upper reservoir
(Mušovská) serves as a place for recreation and
irrigation.
