Geocache Description:

This cache is a small, clear lunchbox containing small items.

Cache is on part of the 'Cow Hill Walk' from Fort William.

Cow Hill is located in Fort William and has TV Mast on the top.

The walk is fairly easy if walked from Fort William town centre towards Upper Achintore, its a bit harder and steeper if you follow the route outlined on the linked webpage which takes you through the forest.

Either way gives fantastic views of Fort William, Ben Nevis, the Glen Nevis Valley and Loch Linnhe hence the caches name.

If you just want to claim the cache and not do the circuit walk we'd suggest you start from the road leading up from Fort William (Lundavra Road) to Upper Achintore. Its an easy walk up to the summit of Cow Hill from here.

This is one of two caches I've placed on Cow Hill, the other one being A Stile-ish View.

PLEASE NOTE: The weather can change very quickly in this area so dress accordingly, the summit is very exposed and when we went the hailstones were coming in horizontally.
