Nice wooded area of the common, easy walk can be muddy in winter.
This can be done as a cache and dash if you park in Shelvers Way near the junction with the A217, or with the others in the common as muck series, Hills and Mountains and Oasis of Calm.
If you take dogs or children that tend to roam, please take care as the dual carriageway is nearby.
