A cache hidden at one of North Carolina's better known supernatural sites. Learn about the site (DEVIL'S TRAMPING GROUND),come visit--and track down this cache while you're in the neighborhood.
The site is unmarked, but there is an area at the roadside to park. Due to all sorts of people (partiers) comming here i had to make this cache a little difficult to find ,the hints may help a little please use them, no need to DNF this one.A BIG THANKS TO PHINNMAN for the replacement of the container so long ago, I owe you one.
About the DEVIL'S TRAMPING GROUND
A barren circle in the middle of the forest.One of North Carolina's oldest legends. For hundreds of years, nothing has grown in the eerie 40-ft spot. Locals claim that things left in the ring at night are gone by dawn. Changing very little since it was discovered long ago, even scientists from the Department of Agriculture cannot explain the mysterious Devil's Tramping Ground.
