Geocache Description:

This is a very impressive location! And best of all – it’s easy to get to. (So, all you urban cachers who have been thinking about having a taste of Namadgi, but have been too scared by the high mountains, dense scrub or long walks) here’s your chance! There’s NO HILLS, NO LONG WALK (about 1.2km return) and NO BUSH BASHING – In fact the walk is along a nicely formed track all the way! There is also NO SIGNIFICANT ROCK CLIMBING required!

The best place to start is at the ex-collimation tower: (see trail head). From there head along the formed path to cross a large flat rock with two overhanging rocks. Follow the path a little further, go a little past the posted entrance coordinates, and then turn left to find the entrance.

The cache itself is hidden inside the cave! There are many hiding places in the cave, and no GPS signal! The hint below should be all you need (besides a torch), but if you want a spoiler photo, let me know. Please ensure that the cache is hidden deep in its hidey hole again when finished. The cache can be seen if you look from the right angle – no moving of rocks required.

The cave is very popular, and at times can be full of muggles! (As can be seen by the campfire site in the middle of the cave). – In that situation, you will need to postpone your search until they are gone!

Now, if you haven’t already found the original Lego Land, and want to step up your adventure some – continue along the path for more grand views, and absolutely GIANT boulders!

Please BYO pen.
