Yes it really is there, google map isn't wrong.

But there is a nice pedestrian crossing with a greenman and everything. Though don't press the wait button too late otherwise it won't let you cross on that cycle of red light and will make you wait for what seems ages.

Called road rage as during rush hour, people forget their manners, hence the requirement for yellow hashed boxes.

I always used to walk across this roundabout on the way home from the cinema. Now I can do it safely, but I think I'd rather drive.
