The cache is about 1.1 miles on the Ray Miller Trail in La Jolla Canyon with about a 600ft elevation climb.
Since the Mugu Muggles and I have been chased off climbing Laguna Peak, we have been coming down to the Ray Miller trail when the mosquitos aren't too bad. I saw the little game trail the other day and thought the view would be great which it is. We hike to "Islands and Mountains" and back in under an hour during our lunch "hour".
Please stay on the game trail and don't bushwhack. Watch out for critters especially rattle snakes which I have seen on this trail at least three times. The cache is not close to any cliff but watch your step on this slightly rocky terrain.
