What better way to celebrate the arrival of fall than to get
together with your NoVAGO friends? We'll be hosting the event at
Bluemont Park in Arlington, Virginia.

Event
Schedule:
The event starts at 11:00am and will be lots of fun! We'll work on
putting together a schedule for the event -- otherwise it will be a
relaxed, informal event where the only requirement is to have a
good time!
Be sure not to miss the cache packing contest at 11:30, set
up by Networkcacher (read more in the NoVAGO forums
here. Are you fast, really fast? Just how
quick can you unpack a cache, sign the log and put it all back
together again? The cache packing contest will pit your raw
speed against a geocache, the clock and cut throat competitors.
Drop your name in the bin for a chance to compete against your
fellow cachers in a madcap contest of speed and skill!
Important
Information
* In addition to several caches being available in the park
and surrounding areas, the following activities are available:
fishing, hiking trails, horseshoes, frisbee golf, various play
fields, and a few other amenities. Pets are permitted provided
they are leashed at all times.
* Please post your Will Attend log with: 1. What you
intend to bring. If you don't know now, please post it as the event
gets closer so we can keep track of who is bringing what and try to
fill in holes. A list will be posted periodically for you to see
what others are bringing. No dish, dessert or drink will get turned
away! All food is welcome! and 2. How many people you are
RSVP'ing for (so we can get an accurate head-count)
* Please do not log travel bugs into the event and
leave them on a table to be retrieved by other cachers. If you'd
like to trade TBs, please do so from person to person. This way
they can all be accounted for and none get left on the event page
and deemed to be MIA.
Pot Luck
Information
* The food is potluck. NoVAGO will supply hamburgers,
hotdogs, and Italian Sausages/Brats. Side dishes are provided by
event attendees! Keep in mind that even if there are 100 people
showing up, you do not need to bring enough to feed 100
people! If 100 people bring enough to feed 100 people, that's
way too much food, even for us! The list of food (as of
