L'Arsenal

L'Arsenal a été bâti en 1692 par Vauban, célèbre architecte militaire de Louis XIV, qui a laissé aussi sa trace sur la citadelle. Il a servi tour à tour d'entrepôt d'armes, écurie pour l'armée et de caserne de gendarmerie.	The "Arsenal" was built in 1692 by Vauban, the famous architect of Louis XIV, who also left his trace on the citadel. It served in turn as warehouse for weapons, as Army stable and as barracks for the "gendarmerie".
En 1977, il fut acquis par les Facultés Notre-Dame de la Paix et entièrement restauré pour en faire le point de rencontre entre l'Université et le monde extérieur, via une infrastructure pour congrès et séminaires.	In 1977, it was acquired by Les Facultés Notre-Dame de la Paix and entirely restored. It serves now as a contact point between the University and the outside world, thanks to an infrastructure for congress and seminars.
