Almost to the Top Traditional Geocache

Almost to the Top is located near a rocky outcrop a short distance from the top of Cox Hill. The cache site is located on a gentle hill top with no really pitchy terrain. Caution needs to be taken in the area of the cache following any amount of precipitation due to the potentially slippery conditions.

Almost to the Top is a regular sized LnL type container with the usual logbook, pencils and a small variety of trading items. Come out and enjoy a view of Moose Mountain and the city of Calgary from a slightly different perspective.

Almost to the Top can be accessed via the Dawson Recreation Area parking or the Jumpingpound Ridge North parking area suggested by BVPete. Our round trip distance from the JPR parking was just over 15 km and one can expect a round trip distance of 12 km from the Dawson trailhead. Both routes are on exceptionally well maintained trails.
