D: Das kleine Örtchen Niedow in Polen ist bekannt durch seine Lage am Ufer des viel besuchten Witka-Stausees.
Das Flüsschen Witka wurde in den 60ern angestaut. Es entstand ein Wassersportzentrum, welches auch von Deutschland aus vielfach benutzt wird.
In der Nähe von Stausee und Ort befindet sich eine große Informationstafel.
Sie beschreibt den früher auf dem dahinter liegenden Berg befindlichen frühslawischen Burgwall .
Er wurde vom 9. bis zum 11. Jahrhundert benutzt.
Bei Ausgrabungen wurden viele Gegenstände der damaligen Zeit gefunden.
Parken kann man bei den oben angegebenen Koordinaten.
Dann geht es zur Informationstafel (Station 1), und von dort aus kann der Multi nach kurzer Zeit abgeschlossen werden.
En: The small village Niedow in Poland is well known because of its location at the shore of the well visited water reservoir Witka.
The rivulet Witka has been dammed up in the 60th. There rose a centre for water sports, frequently used from Germany, too.
Nearby the water reservoir and the village you can find an information board.
It describes the ancient Slavian castle on the „Slavian Mountain“, used from 9th to 11th century. The castle was located nearby the board.
During excavations one found many parts of ancient equipment.
Parking is possible at the above given coordinates.
Then you should go to the information board (Station 1). From there, you can finish the cache search after short time.
