Isaac's Stash Traditional Geocache
Long Man: I have made two requests for this cache to be maintained and the listing is still disabled. I feel the owner has had sufficient time to carry out the required maintenance, but has failed to do so.
Because of this I'm archiving the cache.

Isaac's Stash - Located near to the larger entrance of Alderstead Heath in Surrey. Access should be suitable for Buggies
Alderstead Heath has a mysterious history. During the WW2 the land was requisitioned by the Ministry of Defence. It is known that at some point the Canadian Army were based here but very little is know about what they actually did. There is still evidence of the base today.
There is also a makeshift memorial (a tree) located within the heath commemorating the death of an number of Airmen whose plane crashed there on the 29th September 1944. This crash adds to the mystery as again there is very little know about this incident.
Whilst the cache is located close to the entrance it is worth a walk through the heath. Be aware, there can be plenty of Muggles walking their dogs.
The cache is a 450ml Click Fresh type Tupperware box. It is big enough to hold Travel Bugs/Coins etc. Please feel free to swap items contained as usual. It is hidden about 30ft from one of the main concrete pathways and covered from view. The actual location should become clearer as you near the co-ordinates.
