Muito antes da Praia do Carvoeiro começar a ser
um cartaz turístico de renome nos roteiros nacionais e
internacionais, já o
Algar-Seco era um
local de passagem obrigatória para quem visitava a antiga
povoação de pescadores.
Com efeito, o conjunto de formações rochosas,
que o mar, o vento e as águas foram talhando pacientemente ao
longo de milhões de anos, foi sempre um local que
impressionou o visitante, um quadro pintado de estranhas e
irrepetíveis formas, de grutas, algares e falésias esculpidas
no calcário e na argila, onde a imensidão azul e calma ou as
vagas alterosas se escondem no horizonte infinito. Um lugar
que afaga e renova o espírito nos dias sossegados e nas
noites de lua cheia. Onde se respira a maresia refrescante
que galga a fortaleza irreal, quando o oceano se
enfurece.
E neste anfiteatro de rara beleza, o Homem foi
também, ao longo dos anos, moldando escadinhas e recantos,
que proporcionam ao visitante momentos inesquecíveis de paz
interior, o prazer das calmas madrugadas e o encantamento do
sol que se espreguiça na despedida.
Algar-Seco é uma excelente
alternativa de passeio para quem veraneia por estas bandas, fica a
meio quilómetro da Praia do Carvoeiro, para leste e tem acesso por
estrada asfaltada, que termina no parque de estacionamento. No meio
de rochas, um bar com esplanada, onde próximo existe uma passagem
criada nas rochas que o levará até à Boneca de Algar-Seco
(miradouro)
, aconselho a visita.
Recomendo
bastante cuidado perto do ponto zero, dada a proximidade da
falésia, mantenha uma boa margem de segurança.
A cache encontra-se em local acessível, não corra riscos
desnecessários.

A long time ago
before the Carvoeiro Beach begin to be a renowned tourist poster in
the national and international itineraries, already the Algar-Seco
was a place of compulsory passage for whom that was visiting the
fishermen's ancient village. This set of rocky formations, which
the sea, the wind and the waters were cutting patiently along
million years, was always a place that impressed the visitor, a
painted picture of strangers and incomparable forms, of caves,
algares and cliffs sculpted in the limestone and in the clay, where
the blue and calm vastness or the towering waves are hidden in the
infinite horizon. A place that strokes and renews the spirit in the
quiet days and in the nights of full moon. Where is possible to
breathe the refreshing smell of the sea that jumps over the unreal
fortress, when the ocean is infuriated.
And in this amphitheatre of rare beauty, the Man was also, along
the years, molding stairs and corners, which provide to the visitor
unforgettable moments of inner peace, the pleasure of the calms
dawns and the enchantment of the sun that stretches in the
farewell.
Algar-Seco is an excellent
visit
alternative for whom that spends the summer in
these directions, at a half kilometer of Carvoeiro Beach, at
east side and has access for asphalted road, which ends in
the parking. In the middle of rocks, a bar with esplanade,
where near is a passage created in the rocks that will take
you to the Boneca of Algar-Seco (viewpoint), I recommend the
visit.
