Het Eindhovens Kwartet is de oudste actieve serie geocaches in Eindhoven.
Loop vier multi's in vier verschillende hoeken van de stad en vind daarna de bonus.

Eindhovens Kwartet Noord-Oost is een ruim 3 kilometer lange wandeling door het Eckartse bos.

Let op: De waypoints, vragen en eindlocatie van deze cache zijn geheel herzien per september 2019.
Een deel van de route gaat door een gebied dat een deel van het jaar erg drassig is!
Aangelijnde honden mogen mee. Op het gegeven begincoördinaat is een parkeerplaats voor een stuk of tien auto's.
De parkeerplaats ligt bij het toegangshek van een waterzuiveringsinstallatie.
A = (het huisnummer van de waterzuiveringsinstallatie) + 4.
Loop naar de andere kant van de parkeerplaats en ga meteen na de slagboom rechtsaf het smalle pad langs het groene paaltje in.
Waypoint 2 ligt op N51°27.4A5 E005°30.AA5.
B= (het aantal bankjes dat op dit punt staat) - 1
Loop verder naar het volgende waypoint op: N51°27.634 E005°31.B6B.
Je komt uit bij het terrein van een schuttersgilde, blijf buiten de hekken.
C = (het aantal schietpalen op het terrein van het schuttersgilde) – 1
Loop nu naar N51°27.C73 E005°30.C5C
Een klein stukje van het pad vind je twee grote zwarte cijfers op een gele achtergrond.
D = beide cijfers bij elkaar opgeteld.
E = het eerste cijfer - 1
F = het tweede cijfer - 1
Loop nu een meter of 20 terug en ga dan het kleine paadje dat in westelijke richting loopt het bos in (het pad rechtdoor loopt dood). Loop door het bos naar N51°27.DD7 E005°30.F8F
Hier staat een hek dat je kunt openen met een knop. Welke kleur heeft deze knop?
Rood: X = 1
Blauw: X = 2
Groen: X = 3
Zwart: X = 4
Wit: X = 5
Geel: X = 6
Toen deze cache online kwam kon je de brug hier nog niet over steken. Nu kan dat een groot deel van de tijd wel. Het is de moeite waard om tijdens de openingstijden van de poort even over te steken en een kijkje te nemen op het landgoed. Je vindt hier onder andere kasteel Eckart (zie additional waypoint). Voor de cache is het niet noodzakelijk het landgoed te betreden.

Het is een plastic bakje met plek voor kleine goodies, TB's en coins. In het logboek van de cache staat een aanwijzing voor de cache "Eindhovens Kwartet Compleet".
Deze cache is oorspronkelijk in 2002 neergelegd door LouiSearcher. De originele cache (GCBB13) verdween in 2007. Om het kwartet weer volledig te maken werd deze cache in september 2008 opnieuw uitgezet. In september 2019 zijn de vragen herzien en is de beschrijving opgefrist.

Please be aware that a part of the route runs through an area that can be wet during a part of the year.
Leashed dogs are allowed to come along. At the starting coordinates there is a parking space for approximately ten cars.
The parking area is near the entrance fence of a water treatment plant.
A = (the house number of the water treatment plant) + 4.
Go to the other side of the parking area and directly after the barrier turn right, into the narrow path along the green poles.
Waypoint 2 is at N51°27.4A5 E005°30.AA5.
B= (the number of benches at this location) - 1
Continue to the next waypoint at: N51°27.634 E005°31.B6B.
You'll arrive at the site of an archer's guild, stay outside the gates.
C = (the number of shooting poles on the archer's guild site) – 1
Continue to N51°27.C73 E005°30.C5C
Near the path you'll see two big black digits on a yellow background.
D = both digits added up.
E = the first digit - 1
F = the second digit - 1
Go back approximatley 20 meters now and turn into the narrow path that goes into the woods in westerly direction (the path straight ahead is a dead end). Go through the forest to N51°27.DD7 E005°30.F8F
Here you'll find a gate. You can open it with a button on the pole on the right side of the gate. Which colour does this button have?

When this cache was published it was not possible to cross the bridge. Nowadays it is possible to do so, most of the time. It's worth the effort to cross the bridge during the opening times of the gate en visit the estate. Among the interesting buildings is the Eckart castle (see additional waypoint). It is not necessary to visit the estate for the cache.

It is a small plastic box with space for small goodies and trackables. In the logbook is a clue for "Eindhovens Kwartet Compleet".
This cache was originally placed in 2002 by LouiSearcher. The original cache (GCBB13) disappeared in 2007. To complete the quartet again this cache was created again in september 2008. In september 2019 the questions have been revised and an English translation has been added.
