This cache is located in the Vandeleur Walled Garden. You may park inside the main entrance. The locals park here to walk the trails of Kilrush Wood. This historic gardens are worth a visit. If you have time, it is worth checking out.
The Vandeleur Walled Garden lies nestled in the heart of Kilrush Wood, just 2 Kilometres from the Centre of Kilrush in the County of Clare. Beautifully constructed walls enclose this sheltered Walled Garden which is set among 420 acres of native woodland.
Once the walled garden for Kilrush House, but forgotten for many years it has been re-designed for the 21st century around the old path-system with a horizontal maze, unusual water-features and a free-standing Victorian-style working glasshouse which is assessable to visitors.
The cache is a 6" x 4" x 2" Rubbermaid Lock n Lock container, covered in brown packaging tape. Contents of the cache when first started are:
