Geocache Description:

Some antennas (aerials) and masts are hidden and some aren't.
This mast certainly isn't hidden!

The above co-ordinates are for reference and there is no need to visit that location. To find the location of the cache you will first have to find out the years of birth of three people who made significant contributions that led to radio transmissions, and hence antenna masts as we know them today.

First Person born 18AB
Born in Scotland this person's most significant achievement was the developement of electromagnetic theory that showed radio transmissions should be possible.
There is a set of equations named after him for this work.
A Hall at Salford University bears his name.
In common with many mathematicians he has a Lunar Crater named after him.
In 1856 he was elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Second person Born 18CD
Born in Germany this person was the first to demonstrate the existance of electromagnetic waves.
He has a SI unit named after him.
He also has a crater on the moon named after him.
He was honoured by Japan with the Order of the Sacred Treasure.
In 1889 he was appointed as Professor of Physics at the University in Bonn

Third person born 18EF
Born in Italy he was the first to put the work of the previous two people to practical use.
He shared a Nobel prize in Physics
The airport serving the town of his birth is named after him.
He was commissioned in the Italian Army as a Lieutenant being later promoted to Captain, before transferring to the Navy in the rank of Commander
He took out patent 7777.

The cache is a small container which will hold small TBs and Geocoins, and is situated at:-
N50° 58.(D-B)(C+F)(A+B)     E000° 01.(E-C)(D+B)(F+B)

Parking can be found by subtracting 105 from the Northings and 143 from the Eastings, giving you a short walk (approx 300 yards) to the cache with open views of the Sussex countryside.

The area is popular with dog walkers so diversionary tactics may be required at the cache site.
