Geocache Description:

Praia Chaves is a fantastic beach located in Boa Vista island, Cape Verde. It has 10 km of soft white sand without people around, just a few tourists.

In October of 2007 opened the international airport, some resorts already opened and others will open soon. We hope this development won't adversely affect the natural beauty of this extraordinary place.

The Cache

It is located in the ruins of old kilns once the center of an established industry on Boa Vista.

It is very interesting to see the relation between the fine white sand, the dunes, the sea and those ruins. It is a unique scenario.

After having found the cache you should dive in the warm sea, it's fantastic!!
