Ciao collega geocacher,

dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica. Per questo motivo mi vedo costretto ad archiviare cache. Se non intendi correggere ed intervenire, ti prego di rimuovere il cache. Se, al contrario, intendi completare il cache rispondendo ai problemi evidenziati, sarò lieto di de-archiviarlo e ripartire con le verifiche e, se conforme alle [url=http://www.geocaching-italia.com/geocaching/page.zul?lineeguidaufficiali]Linee Guida[/url], provvedere alla pubblicazione del cache.

ING: The area of risorgive, situated in Duino-Aurisina's town, in antiquity was important cult place. The presence of a river that gushed out from the earth made curious and had frightened the primitive populations. In the IV century, with the Christianity's advent was built the first chapel, than with successive modifications, become the Saint Giovanni in Tuba's Basilica (open in spring and summer from 11.30 am to 12.30 on Sunday). Near the church is the evocative Mouths of the Timavo, great risorgence of the river with six springs that they gush out to the carsico plateau underfoot, with which the waters basements of the river return to the light and through three branches meets in an only course towards sea (km 1,5). The Timavo river' s sink in the Saint Canziano's Caves, (Škocjanske jame) for re-emerge here after approximately 38 km. For the requirements water system the sources have been bridled within concrete banks. The road that comes down to the Villaggio del Pescatore, where who wants can taste good fish in several restaurants… until there is!
You can park to the coordinates N. 45°47.343 E. 13°35.380 and then, walking around the church you can find two caches… one easy and we have prepared you also a mini cache for the geocacher senior!

ITA: L'area delle risorgive, posta nel comune di Duino-Aurisina, fin dall'antichità fu importante luogo di culto. La presenza di un fiume che sgorgava dalla terra aveva incuriosito e impaurito le popolazioni primitive. Nel IV secolo, con l'avvento del cristianesimo venne edificata la prima cappella, che con successive modificazioni, divenne la basilica di San Giovanni in Tuba (aperta in primavera e estate dalle 11.30 alle 12.30 di Domenica).Poco dietro la chiesa sono le suggestive Bocche del Timavo, grandiosa risorgenza del fiume con sei ribollenti polle che sgorgano ai piedi dell'altopiano carsico, con cui le acque sotterranee del fiume ritornano alla luce e attraverso tre rami confluiscono in un unico corso verso il mare (km 1,5).
Il singolare fiume Timavo s'inabissa nella voragine di San Canziano, (in territorio Sloveno), percorre le Grotte di San Canziano (Škocjanske jame) e altre grotte del Carso, fra cui le Grotte di Trebiciano per riemergere qui dopo un corso sotterraneo di circa 38 km; notare la limpidezza cristallina delle acque specialmente nel secondo bacino, dove la polla affiora sul pelo dell'acqua. Per le esigenze dell'acquedotto le sorgenti sono state imbrigliate entro argini di cemento.
La strada che scende alla risorgenza porta al Villaggio del Pescatore, dove chi vuole può gustare del buon pesce in vari locali . . . finchè ce n'è!!!
Potete parcheggiare alle coordinate N. 45°47.343 E. 13°35.380 e poi, passeggiando verso la chiesa potete trovare due caches...vi abbiamo preparato anche una mini cache per i più attenti!!!!
