Lazne Paseky / Spa Paseky
Historie / History:
Dne 12. dubna 1893 navstivil Paseky farar Sebastian Kneipp. Pri prílezitosti jeho navstevy byl polozen zakladni kamen k sanatoriu, kde bylo pozdeji vyuzivano jeho lecebnych metod. Zakladatelem lazni, ale i rady dalsich budov (napr. byvaleho Nadrazniho hotelu) byl Adolf Tischer. Dik jeho cinum mohla obec od roku 1894 pouzivat nazev Bad Schlag, tedy Lazne Paseky. V roce 1899 prevzal vedeni sanatoria Dr. Georg Glettler a o ctyri roky pozdeji zarizeni odkoupil. Za jeho pusobeni byl zalozen lazensky park s promenadnimi cestami, v hlavni budove se nachazely restauracni mistnosti, ctenarsky a hudebni pavilon a dokonce bazen s umelym vlnobitim! Pozdeji byly zalozeny i tenisove kurty. Dr. Glettler, ktery proslavil Paseky siroko daleko, vedl zarizeni az do roku 1945. Zemrel 20. ríjna 1958 v Drazdanech ve veku 90 let.
A priest Sebastian Kneipp made a visit in Paseky on 12 April 1893. This was occasion for plasing the foundantion stone of a new sanatorium where his methods of treatment were later widely used. Adolf Tischer was a founder of the spa as well as other major buildings in this area (e.g. a former hotel near railwaystation) Thaks to his great work the town got the privilege to use the name "Bad Slag" which means "Spa Paseky". In 1899 Dr. Glettler became a new director of the sanatorium and four years later he became the owner. During his time a spa park with long and wide paths was established. And in the main building you could find thinks like restaurants and reading and musik hall and even a swimming pool with waves like in the sea. Later even tennis courts were built. Dr Gletter who made Paseky so famous ran the sanatorium until 1945. He died on 20 October 1958 in Drasden at the age of 90.

The buldings are now a old people´s home.
