A quick puzzle cache at the Lullingstone Villa, an English Heritage site, requiring just two simple answers. Don't expect to take more than 15 minutes for the whole thing !
This is based at the English Heritage site but you do not need to go inside the building. You will need to pay for parking if you go in the main car park but people are cheeky enough to park on the verge. I would recommend a visit to the Villa site if you have time, it costs about £4 for adults, free if an English Heritage member. Interestingly, this site was a field with a road running straight through the excavation site, with only a small part of the mosaic cordoned off with a barbed wire fence back in the 1940's. During the 1940's it was excavated and the building has recently undergone major refurbishment. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there today.
Anyway, back to the cache. The co-ordinates at the top of the page refer to the car park area. Just outside the entrance to the car park is an information board showing a picture of how the villa might have looked many years ago.
Question 1 - What year does the drawing of the villa represent? Answer - AD EFG [note AD is part of the date, not the clue! You want EFG].
Question 2 - How far is it to Lullingstone Castle? Answer - XYZ metres [You want XYZ].
The final location is less than 100 metres at:
