Guineafowl Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

ROTSIP: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

To find this cache we recommend that you park at S33 57.425 E025 30.866.

You stand a very good chance to view large numbers of Guineafowl early morning or late afternoons in this area. Also there is/was a trail that runs through this area, named after these birds. That was until a big flood (Aug 2006) took along with it all the small wooden bridges over the stream. As a matter of fact even the bridge used by the cars collapsed... (It is under re-construction thus traffic is hectic. UPDATE: Bridge is complete)

We suggest to cross the stream at the 5th hole Tee. (After rain some wading through shallow water might be needed.)

Find the egg and you'll have the cache.

Bring own pen to sign the log, and please handle cache carefully, its fragile...
